Business Class Internet

At LightSpeed, we offer a business class internet service that utilizes out 1G/10G infrastructure and offers you the features you need to help with your daily tasks.  In addition to a reliable and fast internet experience, we can also provide you additional features for your company.

POINT-TO-POINT ETHERNET (VLAN)
A VLAN is a group of devices that behave as connected to a single network, even if they may not be.  For example, a business may have two locations yet may want to share the same resources, bandwidth and server access as if they were located in the same building.

STATIC IP ADDRESSES
We offer static IP’s available to any of our business customers that would like a non-dynamic, dedicated connection to their device.  A static IP delivers  improved DNS support, easier server hosting and management,  improved remote access, more reliable data communication and targeted geo-locational services.

24x7x365 TECHNICAL SUPPORT
We understand that as a business, any downtime can be both frustrating and costly.  Our business class customers will receive only the best support with the fastest possible resolution.

Three Business Phone Service Options

We offer a hosted analog solution for business that require a traditional phone system with improved features and performance.  Our “analog” service still uses our digital infrastructure, but can convert the signal to be used with analog technology.  With our hosted analog solution, you will be able to continue using all your current phones and hardware, while being able to have the reliability of our fiber optic network.

Phone trunk systems existed with regular landline telephones; SIP trunking is just the Internet version of this.  A SIP trunk uses the internet, similarly to VOIP, however you can personalize features and settings per company requirement.  SIP trunking allows a business to connect as many phones as needed to share common “lines” over the internet.  Each phone requires a number (DID) that can be dialed directly without needing to go through a directory or receptionist.   Finally, a SIP trunk requires an IP PBX along with IP Phones to use the service.

VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) has a similar transmission method to SIP,  however there are many differences in the setup, hardware and features.   With VOIP, you will still need  IP-based phones, however this hosted service will not require a new phone system PBX or additional hardware.  Lastly, pricing is not determined by shared “lines”, but by individual seats tied to each individual phone.
